At Food for Thought Catering, “Full Service” means that we provide all aspects of catering your event. This includes food preparation, drop off, delivery, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup. Our goal is to do all the work so that you can feel like a guest at your own event.
To place a catering order, call our office directly at 678-340-0510 and speak with one of our professional catering coordinators. You can set up a free initial, in-person consultation to discuss your upcoming event, or we can provide the consultation over the phone. After your consultation, we will send you a bid for you to review. Once you finish making any necessary adjustments and approve the order, you can sign the contract and we can collect our deposit. We will collect the remainder of your bill once your event concludes.
We will send you an invoice, and you can pay with cash, check, money order, or credit card. For credit card payments, there will be a small processing fee.
Our cancellation policy differs depending on the number of guests and the type of service ordered. Speak with our catering professionals to learn the details of our company’s cancellation policies.
We do not have a maximum guest limit, as we are fully-equipped to cater any event, regardless of size or scope. However, we DO have minimum guest requirements that vary depending on the menu option. All of our menus are priced per individual person based on the menu’s minimum order amount. This common catering operation is known as a “quest count.”
Yes, absolutely. We use strict internal safety codes to ensure all food allergy requests are adhered to for every dish. We also have the knowledge and resources to provide special request menus, such as Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-free, sugar-free, lactose-free, and more. We can create a delicious custom menu for you and your guests, regardless of any dietary restrictions.
Of course! Here at Food for Thought Catering, we work closely with several different vendors throughout the city. Ask us for referrals anytime. We can get you in touch with venues, photographers, videographers, florists, DJ’s, bands, ensembles and soloists, tents, designers, activities, officiants, and so much more!
The time we need to prepare your catering order depends on several factors. This includes our current client schedule, your schedule, the type of event, the number of guests, and more. In most cases, we need at least 48 hours of notice for drop off catering services, such as box lunches, and at least 30 days for larger events like weddings, graduations, and more. This helps to secure your date as well. Feel free to call us if you have a last minute need, we can usually help with them.
If you want to make changes to your catering order before the big day, you can! For small orders and events, you must give at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the date of your event; for large orders and events, we will need at least 2 weeks’ notice so that we can make the proper adjustments and arrangements in time. In some cases, there are exceptions to this rule and changes cannot be made. Talk to one of our catering coordinators to learn more about these exclusions.
No; gratuity is NOT automatically added to your final invoice. However, it is greatly appreciated. Talk to our catering sales managers for recommendations in regards to gratuity for your event.
Thank you (...) for doing such a great job at our wedding last month. We are still getting compliments on how great the food was. (...) You guys were a joy to work with. Now if we could get your shrimp and grits recipe that would be awesome. :)Misty Brown Munn
(...) Food For Thought were great! They had exactly what we wanted to serve at dinner at our wedding. (...) Their food was top notch and their prices were incredibly reasonable. (...) We had a tasting and a pre-planning meeting with them before the wedding. (...) I loved our food and I would recommend FFT for anyone needing a caterer!Kelly McGee Nevins
